Report content

Hello! Thank you for your concern for making Bluetape safe! We review reports promptly, however please note that our ability to act on reports is inherently limited by the technology Bluetape is based on, ATProto.
Bluetape doesn't host any user content. Bluetape acts as an aggregator of data from ATProto, meaning that all content you see on Bluetape is stored on the personal data servers (PDS) that authors of the content chose. Most authors choose Bluesky as their PDS provider, while some choose to host a PDS themselves.
While we can hide reported content from tape.blue, we are unable to delete it, just like Google can only hide a link from search results, but not delete the website. If the content should be deleted, we ask that you reach out to the relevant PDS provider.
To find out the PDS provider, please go to https://pdsls.dev, enter the author's handle into the search field, click Go and look at the link under Services. If the link ends with bsky.network or bsky.social, please contact support@bsky.app. Otherwise, you have to contact the owner of the domain that the link is on.
